This practice focuses on moving the spine thoroughly through one directional plane. Twists are associated with digestion and can help us ‘digest’ both mentally and physically. Take this opportunity to practice making use of what is most necessary for the mind and body and let the rest go. For this practice you will need a bolster and, optionally, a blanket.
